MASQUERADE BALL | TUXEDOS AND BLACK & WHITE TIE POLICY

In previous years we have made an exception to the official ManiFest dress code and have accepted tuxedos and black & white tie for our Masquerade Ball.
The upcoming Masquerade Ball 2020 will be our last party with this extension of the dress code.

From 2021 tuxedos and black & white tie, not fulfilling the materials outlined in the ManiFest dress code, will not be permitted.

We acknowledge that tuxedos and black & white fit into a Masquerade Ball theme, however this creates two main issues:
1. During our other parties we have observed this created confusion for guests, who mistakenly thought that tuxedos and black & white tie was a part of the normal dress code.
2. If we keep tuxedos and black & white as part of the dress code it would be natural to also accept ballgowns. However, this would sidetrack the essence of ManiFest’s visual aesthetic our events wish to create and this is not in our interest.

Conclusion: ManiFest Masquerade 2020 is the final party where we will accept, tuxedos and black & white tie.
Please also note that business suits, cocktail dresses, and ballgowns are NOT included in this final exception to the dress code.

At ManiFest Masquerade Ball 2021 tuxedos and black & white tie will not be accepted any longer.
